A child’s first dental visit should happen by their first birthday or when the first tooth appears, according to the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. Early visits let us spot cavities while they’re tiny and help your child feel at home with us.
At each checkup we count and check teeth, look at how the bite is developing, clean and polish, and show your child (and you) how to brush and floss at home. When fillings are needed, we use tooth-colored materials.
